Gift Card Terms and Conditions

General Terms

Blackhawk Network (Europe) Limited’s website (the “Website”) supplies both plastic gift cards (“Plastic Gift Cards”) and digital gift cards (“eGift Cards”) to customers, together referred to herein as (“Gift Cards”), and are issued by Blackhawk Network (Europe) Limited (“Blackhawk”). Blackhawk is registered in England and Wales, under company number 07956446 with registered offices at Westside, London Road, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3 9TD. If you have any complaints about our service or any Gift Cards you purchase from us please contact our Gift Card Customer Support on (0) 330 123 3471 opening hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are redeemable online within the United Kingdom.

Expiry of Gift Cards

Each Gift Card may have different expiry periods. This is outlined in the Term and Conditions of each Gift Card.

Your Rights To End The Contract

You have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel your order and return Plastic Gift Cards for no reason at all provided that you inform us in writing that you wish to cancel within 14 calendar days, starting on the day after the Plastic Gift Cards are delivered to you.

If you choose to cancel, then you must take reasonable care of the Plastic Gift Cards and should return them in re-saleable condition. You must return the Plastic Gift Cards to us in the original packaging to at Blackhawk Network (Europe) Limited, Westside, London Road, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3 9TD, at your cost and risk. We advise you to ensure that the Plastic Gift Cards are adequately insured during the return journey. You will receive a full refund within 14 calendar days of us receiving the Plastic Gift Cards back from you. If you have not returned the Plastic Gift Cards within 14 calendar days of cancellation or when requested by us to do so, whichever occurs first, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Losing your right to change your mind

If you choose to receive your digital codes before expiry of the fourteen (14) day cooling off period you will be required to acknowledge and accept that you will lose your right to end the contract once downloading or streaming of the digital content begins.


Subject to the cooling off period you may not return or cancel your Gift Cards after they are received. If you wish to cancel your Gift Cards order prior to its delivery, please contact Customer Support.

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

Please keep your Gift Cards secure, as if it were cash. Blackhawk is not responsible if the Gift Cards are lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. Blackhawk reserves the right to cancel a Gift Cards, if it reasonably suspects fraud or misconduct. Damaged, altered or cancelled Gift Card will not be accepted.


You may not use your Gift Cards to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash. Unused Gift Cards cannot be transferred, and orders cannot exceed £500 per day.

Gift Card Customer Service

If you need assistance with any aspect of your purchase, or use of your Gift Cards, please contact Customer Support. You will be required to provide your order number.

For any issues concerning the redemption of your purchase please contact the brand using the details provided in their T&Cs.

Payment Methods

Gift Cards may be paid for with a valid debit or credit card (we do not accept American Express).

Delivery Information

We are not responsible for Gift Cards that are not received due to your failure to enter an accurate physical address or email address for the recipient. If you have concerns about your order, please contact Customer Support.

Reasons for Failed Delivery of eGift Cards

eGift Cards are delivered via email. If you have confirmed the recipient's email address but the eGift Cards have not been viewed within a reasonable period after the requested delivery date, following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed:

  1. Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder
  2. Recipient's firewall blocked the email
  3. Email inbox is over size limit
  4. Invalid email address

If a spam filter is blocking Gift Cards emails from getting to an inbox, the email options will need to be modified so that Gift Cards emails are not considered spam.

Personalised Messaging

If you wish to add a personal message to your Gift Cards, simply type your message in the message field during the purchase process.

Personal messages are limited in length to the space provided on the eGift Card, or to the space provided on the presentation carrier of Plastic Gift Cards and there is no additional charge to include a personalised message.

We reserve the right to cancel inappropriate, offensive or otherwise objectionable messages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of your Gift Cards in the English courts.
