How long is my Fashion Choice gift card valid for?

The full value stored on the gift card is available to spend for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep in mind that the date of purchase can be different from the date you have received the gift card. Therefore, you should always check your balance online. My Fashion Choice gift card has expired, what can I do?

You can request a replacement card or a refund of unspent funds on your card at any time up to 6 years after the date of expiry by contacting Customer Service. We may charge a fee of £4.95 for the refund or replacement card. When we process your refund request, we may require you to provide us with information and/or documents in order to verify your personal details in accordance with legal requirements. My Fashion Choice gift card has not been activated, what can I do?

Fashion Choice gift cards are activated at the point of sale. If your gift card has not been activated, this often means that the transaction was not processed properly at the time the card was bought.

If your card was bought in store, we advise you or the purchaser to return to the store with the gift card and the receipt so that the store can re-process the transaction to activate the gift card.

If your card was bought online, please contact our Customer Service team with your email, gift card number and order ID so that we can look into this for you.

Using your Fashion Choice gift card

How do I use my Fashion Choice gift card in store?

Fashion Choice gift cards are processed just like a credit card in store.

If the total of your purchases is more than the value loaded onto your Fashion Choice gift card, you will need to ask staff to split the payment and process your gift card first and then you will need to pay the balance of the transaction with another credit/debit card or cash.

If the total of your purchases is less than the value loaded onto your Fashion Choice gift card, the balance on your gift card will remain on your card ready for your next purchase.

How do I use my Fashion Choice gift card online?

If you are using your Fashion Choice gift card on www.fashionchoicecard.co.uk to purchase a retailer’s eGift, again it works just like a credit card where you will need to enter the card number, card expiry date and CVC2 number as printed on the back on the card.

You can then add eGifts to your basket and complete your order. You don’t need to spend your card balance all in one go.

Once your order is completed you will receive your eGift within 24 hours.

Where can I spend my Fashion Choice gift card?

Fashion Choice gift cards can be spent at a number of participating high street stores such as H&M, River Island, New Look, Schuh, Primark and online at https://purchase.fashionchoicecard.co.uk/ to purchase Zalando eGifts. Please note that this list is subject to change at any time.

Can I spend my Fashion Choice gift card at locations that are not shown on the website?

No, Fashion Choice gift cards can only be spent at the locations that are shown on the website.

Can I use my Fashion Choice gift card online at participating retailers?

No, you cannot use your Fashion Choice gift card directly online at participating retailer websites.

You can only use your Fashion Choice gift card online at https://purchase.fashionchoicecard.co.uk/ to purchase any retailer eGifts that may be available.

Can I use my Fashion Choice gift card in conjunction with any promotions or discounts?

Use of your Fashion Choice gift card in conjunction with any promotions or discounts is at the participating retailer's discretion.

Do I need to spend my Fashion Choice gift card all at once?

No, you can use your Fashion Choice gift card multiple times, across multiple stores until the balance reaches £0 or the funds on your card expire (12 months after activation).

My Fashion Choice gift card didn’t work in store, what can I do?

There are a number of reasons your gift card may be declined:

  • There are insufficient funds on your card to cover the total amount of your transaction. Please check the balance on your card and if required, request staff to process a transaction for only the amount on the gift card and then process a second transaction for the balance for which you will need to pay via another form of tender eg cash or credit card.
  • Your gift card expired. You will need to pay via another form of tender eg cash or credit card.
  • Staff are not processing the Fashion Choice gift card correctly. Fashion Choice gift cards should be processed like a credit card.
  • The store you visited may not be participating in the Fashion Choice gift card program.

If your Fashion Choice gift card still does not work, please contact us with the store details and your card number for assistance.

Why doesn’t my Fashion Choice gift card work on https://purchase.fashionchoicecard.co.uk ?

You will need to have sufficient funds on your Fashion Choice gift card to cover the total purchase price. You cannot top up the transaction with another card.

Please also check that you have correctly entered the card number, card expiry date and CVC2 from the back of the card.
